FAQs

This is a one-day event, taking place entirely online on Thursday, March 12, 2026. Programming will begin at 10:00 AM EDT.

If you are a financial advsior or High Net Worth investor with capital gains, and you’re thinking about making an Opportunity Zone investment, this is a great opportunity for you to learn about several Qualified Opportunity Funds who are seeking investors. Particularly if you have already realized your gain and are facing a 180-day deadline, this event is specifically designed to help you make a decision on how to proceed.

The “accredited investor” definition is important because many types of alternative investments are only open to accredited investors.

You meet the definition of an accredited investor if at least one of the following applies to you:

  • You are an individual investor with an annual income of at least $200,000 (or, $300,000 if combined with a spouse’s income), OR
  • You are an individual investor with a net worth in excess of $1 million (excluding your primary residence), OR
  • You are a financial advisor who holds in good standing a Series 7, 65, or 82 license.

Up to 12 Qualified Opportunity Funds will present their investment offerings during the course of the day. We will send the agenda to everyone who registers for the event at least a few days in advance. Click here for the current agenda, subject to change. All times listed are Eastern.

The event will be hosted 100% online, via Zoom. Registration is required. Click here to register now. After you register, you will receive instructions via email on how to add the event to your calendar and attend the live Zoom session on March 12. You will be sent a unique login link that is tied to your individual registration. You can use this link the day of the event to join the Zoom session.

No. In an attempt to open up this event to as many investors as possible, we are not charging a fee to attendees.

No. When the final agenda is announced, you can feel free to pop in and out at your leisure throughout the day. If you only want to see presentations from a few of the funds, you can choose to attend only during their presentation slots.

Yes! The entire event will be recorded, so you can watch at a later date if you so choose. Everyone who registers for the event will receive access to the recording. So even if you cannot attend the event live, we would still encourage you to register now, so you can view the recording at a later date.

While this event is mainly focused on matching investors with funds, there will be a keynote address and at least two educational panels/workshops.
