A Message From Our Founder & CEO

Hi, I’m Jimmy Atkinson. I founded OpportunityDb in August 2018 to provide educational resources for Opportunity Zone investors and operators. In September 2024, OpportunityDb rebranded as OpportunityZones.com.

In addition to being founder of OpportunityZones.com, I am also the host of The Opportunity Zones Podcast, and the founder of OZ Insiders, the leading mastermind group for Opportunity Zone investors and professionals.

Our Mission and Vision

OpportunityZones.com is the world’s leading authority on Opportunity Zone investing. Founded in 2018, our mission is to provide investors and professionals with industry-leading news and information.

OpportunityZones.com produces several popular shows, including OZ NewsHour and The Opportunity Zones Podcast. We also host OZ Pitch Day, the industry’s flagship event series, which has been attended by over 10,000 OZ investors, sponsors, and professionals.
