House Passes Opportunity Zones 2.0 Bill

Earlier today, by a final tally of 218-214, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 1, the One Big Beautiful Bill. When enacted, the bill will codify OZ 2.0 into law and make Opportunity Zones a permanent policy.

The bill now heads to President Trump for final signature and enactment. According to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, a signing ceremony will take place tomorrow at 5pm ET during a Fourth of July celebration.
