OpportunityZones.com To Host OZ Pitch Day On July 30, 2026
OpportunityZones.com will host OZ Pitch Day Summer 2026 on Thursday, July 30, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM Eastern Time — marking the platform's 18th such event since launching the series in 2020, and the second of three planned for 2026, the final year of OZ 1.0.

OZ Pitch Day is a one-day online event that helps match investors with privately offered Qualified Opportunity Funds and Opportunity Zone deals that are actively raising capital. This summer's showcase will feature investments spanning a range of sectors, including multifamily, oil & gas, self-storage, and rural development.
Beyond the investment showcase, the event will feature a robust educational program. Proceedings kick off at 10:00 AM ET with an "Opportunity Zone Investing Explained" keynote from OpportunityZones.com founder Jimmy Atkinson. At 10:25 AM ET, Catherine Lyons of the Economic Innovation Group will join Atkinson for a fireside chat about the OZ 2.0 designation process immediately following the opening keynote.
Atkinson will also moderate two panel discussions. At 11:40 AM ET, "Captive QOF vs. Sponsor QOF: Which Path Fits Your Gain?" brings together Blake Christian of HCVT and Gerry Reihsen of Reihsen & Associates to tackle one of the most pressing questions for investors wanting to defer a gain into an Opportunity Zone program. Then at 1:30 PM ET, the "Ask the OZ Expert" session offers an interactive Q&A with Jonathan McGuire of Aldrich Advisors, Frances Kern Mennone of FBT Gibbons, and Mr. Ashley Tison (the OZ Sherpa himself) of OZPros.
